Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who was infected with the coronavirus earlier, was admitted to a hospital in Milan for examination, Free News reported on Friday.
The leader of the Forward Italy party is in San Raffaele hospital as a precautionary measure after experiencing several symptoms, but his medical condition is not of concern.
On Thursday, Berlusconi, speaking by phone to participants in his party’s election demonstration, said that he no longer has a fever and is not in pain. On Wednesday, Berlusconi’s coronavirus infection was announced by his doctor and San Raffaele Professor Alberto Zangrillo. At the same time, he stated that the politician suffers from an asymptomatic form of the disease.
Berlusconi, along with his new girlfriend, a member of Parliament from the Forward, Italy party, 30-year-old Marta Fascina, spent the entire lockdown period in France, at the Villa of his eldest daughter Marina near nice. In the summer, they both returned to their homeland, and in August, they vacationed together in Sardinia.
