24-year-old supermodel Bella Hadid posted several photos on her Instagram showing how the star is being given IVs.
“Living with a few chronic autoimmune diseases =always finding time for my IVs,” the model signed the pictures.
Hadid was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 along with her mother and younger brother Anwar. Bella usually does not share the details of the treatment process with subscribers. Only in 2016 did she tell what it was like to work as a model with such a disease. Her mother revealed some details about Hadid’s health.
“There are hard days when you sleep for 12 hours, then wake up at 11 and can’t get out of bed, with severe joint pain, brain fog, anxiety. Many symptoms are not visible on the outside but make you feel terrible on the inside, ” Yolanda says.
Despite the autoimmune disease, the model tries to devote as much time as possible to her work. Bella conducts treatment-related procedures right in between filming.
“People find it difficult to understand the invisible disability that belongs to our lives, especially behind the beautiful face that shines so brightly on the covers of magazines,” Yolanda Hadid said.
