The Baidu toolkit will allow developers to train models of quantum neural networks. Now any researcher can use them for free.
Baidu has released a toolkit that will allow developers to build and train models of quantum neural networks. It was developed on the basis of the PaddlePaddle deep learning platform, the toolkit also includes applications for quantum computing.
Paddle Quantum is now available on GitHub, it includes a set of tools for learning on a quantum machine, including a library of quantum chemistry, optimization tools, and three quantum applications: for learning on a quantum machine, for modeling quantum chemistry and for quantum combinatorial optimization.
“Researchers in the field of quantum computing can use our tool to develop quantum artificial intelligence, and deep learning enthusiasts have reduced their path to the development of quantum computing,” the researchers noted.
According to Baidu, more than 1.9 million developers already use PaddlePaddle, with more than 84,000 companies using the deep learning platform to create more than 230,000 models. The company also said it is working with several global hardware manufacturers, including Intel, Huawei, MediaTek, and Inspur.
