Austria is ready to host the summit of Russian and American leaders Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. This was stated by the special representative of the Austrian foreign Ministry on Russia Margot Krestil-Leffler.
“We have a lot of experience in holding such meetings, we could provide a platform for such a summit, if the parties agree to hold it”.
The first full-scale meeting of the two presidents was held in mid-July in Helsinki.
It was expected that Putin and Trump will hold talks on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Argentina, but the US President decided to abandon the meeting because of the incident in the Kerch Strait.
