Atlanta and New York advance to the NBA Playoffs

The Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks advanced to the NBA playoffs on Wednesday.

The Knicks did not play on Wednesday and secured a playoff berth thanks to the results of their Eastern Conference opponents. New York made the playoffs for the first time since 2013.

Atlanta beat the Washington Wizards at home on Wednesday” – 120:116 (35:30, 21:29, 27:32, 37:25). Trae Young scored 33 points and Clint Capela had a double double (17 points, 11 rebounds). Russell Westbrook had 34 points and 15 assists for the losers. The Hawks last played in the playoffs in 2017.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets at home, 124 to 122. Before the game at Staples Center was raised a championship banner in honor of the victory of the California teams in the season-2019/20.

Brooklyn Nets on its platform beat San Antonio Spurs – 128:116. Defender James Harden, who missed 18 games due to injury, returned to action and scored 18 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds.

The Boston Celtics lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 94-102, and the Celtics will play in a special tournament to compete for a playoff berth.
