At the airport in Beijing caught fire aircraft Air China

On August 27 at Beijing, capital airport there was an emergency: the Airbus A330-300 caught fire during the preparation for the flight.

According to Aeronautics, the incident occurred at about 16: 00 (local time), the luggage compartment caught fire.

The liner, owned by Air China, flew from Singapore and was preparing to fly to Tokyo.

Smoke began to billow from the front of the fuselage when they began to run passengers.

Data on the number of people on board vary: the airport said that only crewmembers were on Board, and the air carrier said that the crew promptly took fire safety measures and evacuated passengers.

Emergency services were able to quickly extinguish the fire. What caused it is still unknown, the airline is investigating. No injuries were reported.
