Remember a few months ago that ASUS is working on a compact flagship smartphone, ZenFone 8 Mini? So, it seems that the release of new items is just around the corner.
Indian insider Sudhanshu Ambhore spotted the device in the TÜV SÜD certification database. The device comes with two model numbers: ASUS_I006D and ASUS_I006DA. The document states that the smartphone will support fast charging with 30W of power.
Certification does not disclose other details of ZenFone 8 Mini, but according to previous leaks, the device is codenamed SAKE. The novelty is credited with the top-end Snapdragon 888 processor, a 120Hz OLED display with a diagonal of 5.92 inches, and a dual camera with Sony IMX686 and Sony IMX663 sensors.
Besides the ZenFone 8 Mini, ASUS is also working on the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip smartphones. The devices will also be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor but will receive more cameras and OLED screens with a larger diagonal.
