ASUS ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro get first software update: Google Lens for the camera, improved photo quality and DC Dimming

ASUS has released the first update for its flagship ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro smartphones.

The firmware was released with build number 12/29/18/10. It has many useful improvements. First of all, the developers worked on the night shooting mode and the quality of photos in low light. The software also improved the DC Dimming function and automatic brightness. In addition, the engineers fixed minor bugs in the system and added the Dual-band Wi-Fi function, as well as Google Lens to the standard camera application.

As a reminder, ASUS ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro announced last week. New items received almost the same specifications: 6.67-inch AMOLED display at 90 Hz without cutouts and holes, Snapdragon 865/865 + chip, 6/8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of ROM, triple PTZ camera at 64 MP+12 MP+8 MP, 5000 mAh battery with fast 30 watt charging and NFC module.
