As a result of an accident in California, at least 15 people were killed

At least 15 people were killed in an accident involving a cargo truck in southern California. This was reported on Tuesday by The New York Times, citing a road transport service representative.

According to the newspaper, the car, in which there were 27 passengers, collided with a cargo truck carrying gravel. 14 people died on the spot. Nine other people were taken to hospitals, and one of them later died.

The reasons for the incident are not given.
