In a recent interview with British magazine GQ, Armie Hammer spoke for the first time about his realization that he was “not okay” during isolation and seeking therapy. The actor described the emotions at that moment very vividly – “as if the carpet is being pulled out from under his feet, and he falls face forward in slow motion.”
Since then, he began working with a psychologist several times a week to get out of the crisis. And until now, according to Hammer, he attends therapy weekly. The artist notes that problems do not arise when you can be distracted by going to dinner, a pub, or a club. Another thing is when a person remains in isolation with himself and begins to analyze what is happening.
As a reminder, Armie broke up with 38-year-old Elizabeth Chambers this summer after 10 years of marriage. They have two children in common, for whom Hammer is trying to be “the best father.”
At the same time, rumors recently appeared on the Web that the reason for the breakup of Armie with his wife could be his betrayal – Hammer began a relationship with his co-star Lily James. The actors starred together in explicit scenes in the tape.
