Arizona Coyotes resume training on Thursday

Arizona Coyotes players will begin training in groups on Thursday, June 11, according to the official website of the NHL club.

The NHL on Thursday announced that the second phase of the season renewal plan will enter into force on June 8. Starting on Monday, provided that the situation meets all the requirements set out in the plan, clubs are allowed to open training centers so that hockey players can individually conduct classes both on ice and in the hall.

According to the plan, all players and staff will be pre-screened for coronavirus. Players will begin the process of returning to the ice with preliminary medical examinations on Monday.

The NHL season was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. The league and the NHL players union continue to negotiate an agreement to resume the season. It is planned that the season will be played out from the playoff stage with the participation of 24 clubs – 12 from each conference.
