Ariana Grande became the first woman in history to gain 200 million followers on Instagram

27-year-old Ariana Grande became the first Instagram user with 200 million subscribers. Among men, the “champion” of this social network is soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 237 million followers.

Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez are slightly behind Grande – they have 193 and 190 million followers, respectively.

The Instagram record holder was congratulated by her colleague Lady Gaga, with whom they recently recorded the song Rain On Me. “Congratulations to my friend Ariana Grande with 200 million subscribers! You are queen! Wear this crown!” – wrote on her page Gaga, which, by the way, has only 43 million subscribers.

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s song was voted Song of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards over the weekend. The stars performed Rain On Me at the ceremony, and throughout the performance, they sang and danced wearing protective masks to remind fans of the importance of safety measures. But some suspected because of this that Gaga and Grande sang to the soundtrack.

Lady Gaga also became Singer of the Year, and Ariana received the award for the best video made at home – the video Stuck with U with Justin Bieber.
