While Apple is preparing to launch AirPods Studio, information about new compact headphone models has appeared on the network.
According to the report of the American edition of Bloomberg, Apple is going to update AirPods and AirPods Pro next year. The “entry-level model” (aka AirPods 3) will get the look and feel of the current generation AirPods Pro. That is, the headphones will be a vacuum. According to Bloomberg, you shouldn’t expect ANC support in them, but improved autonomy – yes.
As for the second-generation AirPods Pro, they will get rid of the short ear. According to the source, the earbuds will get a rounded shape and will look more like models from Samsung, Amazon, and Google. Unfortunately, there are no detailed specifications of new products yet. If we talk about prices, they are likely to be the same ($159 and $249, respectively).
By the way, the report also says that in addition to headphones, Apple plans to release a third HomePod smart speaker in 2021. It will fit in between the original HomePod and the new HomePod mini.
