Apple to release updated Mac mini with M1X chip in the coming months

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman (Mark Gurman) continues to share details about the upcoming Apple innovations.

This time the Gourmet talked about the updated Mac mini. If everything goes according to plan, it will be presented in the coming months. That is, the novelty will be shown at one of the company’s autumn presentations. The device will boast a more powerful proprietary M1X processor. The chip is credited with eight productive cores and two energy efficient ones. The SoC will be paired with up to 64GB of RAM.

In addition to the updated hardware, the new Mac mini will also boast an increased number of ports: four USB-C, two USB-A, one Ethernet and one HDMI. The device will also have magnetic charging, like the iMac on the M1.

How much will be asked for the new Mac mini – there is no information yet.

We will remind, earlier Mark Gurman said that Apple plans to hold several presentations in the fall, which will show the iPhone 13 line, Apple Watch Series 7 smart watches, AirPods 3 headphones, iPad mini compact tablet and budget iPad 9th generation, as well as new MacBooks Pro.
