Apple to launch iMac with proprietary A14T processor in the first half of 2021

Information appeared on the network that Apple is preparing to release a new iMac based on a proprietary processor.

This was reported by the Chinese edition of The China Times. According to the source, the device will be equipped with the Apple A14T chipset. It is codenamed Mt. Jade. It will be equipped with Lifuka’s own graphics accelerator. Like the mobile A14 chip, the novelty will be built using TSMC’s 5-nanometer process technology.

Recall that Apple announced the transition to proprietary ARM-based Silicon processors during WWDC 2020. According to rumors, the first such device will be the 13-inch MacBook Pro, which will be shown in the first half of November. The novelty will work on SoC A14X. By the way, according to The China Times, the new iPad Pro will also receive it.
