As expected, Apple has updated the base iPad. The eighth-generation has become more powerful but remains in the design of the previous version.
The novelty received the A12 Bionic processor, which is twice as powerful as most Windows laptops, three times more powerful than Android tablets, and six times more powerful than available Chromebooks.
The 8th generation iPad supports Apple Pencil, Smart Keyboard, and third-party accessories. Otherwise, there are no differences from the seventh generation iPad, except that an adapter with a USB Type-C connector is included.
The eighth-generation iPad is available for pre-order today starting at $329. Sales start on Friday.
