Apple recalls AirPods Pro headphones due to defects

Apple introduced the AirPods Pro wireless earbuds a year ago and has now announced a revocable company.

According to Apple, some AirPods Pro may have defects: to emit a crackling or static extraneous sound in various situations, as well as to work incorrectly with Active Noise Cancellation technology. For example, when noise cancellation is activated, low frequencies may disappear or background noise from the street or the hum of aircraft engines may increase.

This problem is not global and affected only “a small percentage of AirPods Pro”. It affects devices manufactured before October of this year.

If you experience similar issues, contact an Apple Certified Service Center. The staff will check for a defect and then replace one or both earbuds free of charge. However, the charging case cannot be replaced.
