Apple Mac computers will get the popular iPhone feature

Apple intends to give Mac computers a face recognition function. This is reported by Gizmochina with reference to the authoritative insider Mark Gurman.

The technology giant is going to introduce the Face ID sensor, which has become the main method of biometric user verification, into its computers — this will affect not only laptops but also monoblocks.

Moreover, Apple plans to use the new generation of Face ID in its other products: the inexpensive iPhone SE and iPad tablets. Thus, Cupertino will completely abandon the Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

The first Mac computers with a face scanner will appear within the next two years. At the same time, the first iPhone with a sub-screen Face ID can also be presented.
