Apple is already working on a foldable iPhone: the company has agreed with Samsung to supply flexible displays

It seems that Apple, following Samsung, Motorola and Microsoft, is going to release its foldable smartphone in the near future.

This was told by the Chinese insider Ice Universe. According to him, Apple has agreed with Samsung Display to supply a large batch of flexible OLED screens. This means that a prototype device is already in development.

By the way, insider Jon Prosser also spoke about the fact that Apple is working on an iPhone with a folding design, but, according to him, the new product will look more like a Microsoft Surface Duo than a Galaxy Z Fold 2 or Galaxy Z Flip. That is, the device will have two separate displays. The smartphone is also credited with sensors for Face ID, which will be installed in the thin frame of the device. When such an iPhone will hit the market is unknown.

Recall that Apple recently announced a presentation on September 15th. According to the latest information, the iPhone 12 line is not worth waiting for at the event.
