Apple today released a new version of its Find My service. One very useful function has been added to it.

Until now, the application could track the location of Apple equipment. Now the company has given access to it to third-party manufacturers. The Hidden Object Network will be part of the Made for iPhone (MFi) program. That is, companies that want their products to support the Find My service will have to get Apple’s approval. Such devices will be labeled Works with Apple Find My on the box.

The first to receive support for Works with Apple Find My will be the VanMoof S3/X3 electric bikes, Belkin SOUNDFORM Freedom True Wireless Earbuds, and the Chipolo ONE Spot tag. These gadgets should hit the market next week.

Recall that Apple is now preparing to release a proprietary AirTag for a hidden object. According to rumors, it should be announced this month.
