The young star will play in a remake of the film, which turns 100 years old.
25-year-old actress Anya Taylor-Joy, the star of the TV series “Queen’s Move”, will star in the new film by horror director Robert Eggers. He intends to film the relaunch of the cult 1922 Nosferatu.
According to The Los Angeles Times, the script for the remake began to be written back in 2015. It is not yet known who the heroine Taylor-Joy will play, but presumably she can become the lover of Count Dracula.
The success of the artist was brought by the popular TV series “Queen’s Run” on Netflix, in which she played the main role. After that, Anya was bombarded with job offers. For example, fans will soon see her in the Mad Max prequel.
Note that the original “Nosferatu” was shot by a real guru of horror films – Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. The picture got its name because the creators failed to get the rights to Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”.
