Popular insider Evan Blass revealed on Twitter when Samsung plans to launch its new Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable smartphone.
According to the source, the Korean manufacturer will open pre-orders for the device on September 2 (Wednesday), and sales of the device will begin on September 18 (Friday). There is no official price tag for the novelty yet, but according to rumors, the smartphone will cost, like the original Galaxy Fold – 1980 US dollars.
As a reminder, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 was unveiled earlier this month at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event alongside the Galaxy Note 20 flagships, Galaxy Tab S7 tablets, Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatches, and Galaxy Buds Live TWS headphones. The smartphone received two AMOLED displays at 7.6. and 4.6 inches, a triple main camera with 12MP sensors each, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chip, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of ROM and a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging, 11W wireless and reversible.
