An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred off the coast of Japan, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The earthquake was recorded at 20: 33 UTC. The epicenter was located 120 kilometers northeast of the village of Hasaki, located on the island of Honshu. The hearth lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.
