There were no reports of a tsunami threat.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 was registered in the Pacific Ocean near the coast of California. This was announced on Sunday by the US Geological Survey.

The epicenter of the disaster was located at a distance of 60 km southwest of the city of Eureka, where about 27 thousand people live. The source of the disaster lay at a depth of 27 km.

There were no reports of a tsunami threat.
