An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in China

According to the Chinese seismological center, an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred on Saturday in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China.

The tremor was recorded at 9.54 in Pishan County (Gum) of Hotan County.

The earthquake was located at a depth of 7 kilometers.

Information about the destruction and casualties among the population has not yet been received.
