A suspect in the attack on the US air force base Corpus Christi in Texas has been identified. This is 20-year-old Adam Alim Alsahly, a Syrian-born US citizen. A representative of the FBI reported this.

According to investigators, on Thursday morning, Alsahli tried to drive to the base, but a security barrier blocked the path of his car. The suspect opened fire and wounded one soldier, then was killed by return fire.
FBI investigators initially classified this crime as an act “related to terrorism.”

A spokesman for the FBI also said that the investigation is looking for a person who may be associated with this crime.
