An American military base was shelled in Syria

In the east of the Syrian province of Deir Ez-Zor, an American military base was shelled with rockets, the Syrian state TV channel Suriya reports.

The incident occurred in the area of the Omar oil field. According to media sources, military aircraft are barraging near the “illegal base.”

As previously reported by the Pentagon, the United States launched airstrikes against the targets of pro-Iranian militia groups in the border region of Iraq and Syria. This was done in response to attacks aimed “at the interests of the United States” in Iraq, and to eliminate the threat, the defense ministry said. The Pentagon stressed that the attacks were aimed at weapons depots and operational facilities used by several groups, including the Kataib Hezbollah militia and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada.

For its part, the Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned these strikes, calling these actions an encroachment on the sovereignty of Syria and Iraq, and called on Washington to immediately abandon this.

  1. The there are people setting up wars, and creating conflicts, instead of creating peace they are trying to cause confusion. It’s sad, no one wins like this and in the end freewill is lost
