An American fighter jet crashed after colliding in the sky over California

The crew of the plane managed to eject.

A US military plane crashed in California after a mid-air collision with a KC-130J tanker plane.

According to military reports, the crash occurred on Tuesday, after an F-35B fighter jet collided with a KC-130J while refueling in the air.

Emergency services on the ground reported that the pilot and co-pilot of the fighter jet ejected safely before the plane crashed near Thermal, California.
The crew of the tanker plane was not injured.
