Americans began receiving incentive payments from the government

The Finance Ministry estimates that between 50 and 70 million people will receive the money by mid-April.

The IRS has begun sending out checks with incentive payments of up to $ 1,200 to millions of Americans as part of the Federal government’s attempts to bring the economy back to life.

The first checks were sent on Friday, and millions of Americans will see funds appear in their accounts by Wednesday, the Treasury Department said.

It is expected that between 50 and 70 million Americans will receive money to their accounts by April 15, the Agency noted.

The government is allocating funds as part of a new $ 2.2 trillion economic aid package signed by President Donald Trump in March.
