In Chicago, rapper Jared Higgins, known by the pseudonym Juice Wrld, died. On December 2, the musician turned 21. According to unconfirmed reports, he had a heart attack.
The performer felt unwell at the Chicago airport, shortly after arriving from Los Angeles. Higgins was bleeding from the mouth. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, an autopsy has not been performed, and the medical examiner’s office told CNN.
In May 2019, Juice Wrld won the award as the best new artist at the Billboard Music Awards. For 2018, his songs were most often streamed on the audio service SoundCloud, the company said.
The musician is known for hits Lucid Dreams and All Girls Are the Same. Last year, Lucid Dreams reached number two on the US national chart.
