American actor Michael Williams has died

American actor and dancer Michael Kenneth Williams, best known for his work in the TV series “The Wire” and “Boardwalk Empire,” has died at the age of 54, the New York Post reports, citing law enforcement sources.

According to the data, the actor’s body was found by his nephew in the living room of a penthouse in New York. According to the police, the death could have occurred due to an overdose of drugs or medicines.

Williams became known to a wide audience thanks to the role of Omar Little, who robbed drug dealers in the series “The Wire,” which ran from 2002 to 2008.
