London’s High Court begins a three-week libel trial, in which 57-year-old Johnny Depp accused his 34-year-old ex-wife Amber Heard.
Of course, the ex-spouses arrived separately – after the scandalous divorce proceedings, their relationship, to put it mildly, is far from friendly.
In court, the actress arrived not alone, but in the company of her sister Whitney, with whom they walked holding hands. On the other hand, Hurd held her lawyer, Jennifer Robinson. Amber’s lover Bianca Buti was also seen at the courthouse.
It is reported that spouses who divorced in 2017 will be present at each of the court hearings. Last week, Depp wanted to ban the appearance of Hurd in court until she was summoned as a witness, which would mean that she would not be able to watch her ex-husband testify. However, he failed.
“They are preparing for interrogation, and as soon as they appear in court, lawyers will begin to identify weaknesses in their testimonies. Testimony will be a challenge for both of them, and this court will be a real Hollywood blockbuster,” an insider says.
The court will also address the former lovers of Depp Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder, who have already spoken out in his defense.
