The management of the American corporation Amazon intends to hire 55 thousand employees worldwide for corporate positions and vacancies in the technical field in the coming months. This was reported on Wednesday by Reuters with reference to the company’s CEO Andy Jassy.

In his first press interview since he took over as head of Amazon in July, Jassy said that the company needs more capacity to meet retail, cloud technology, and advertising demand. It is assumed that among the new vacancies announced by the management of the corporation, more than 40 thousand will be opened in the United States and others in countries such as India, Germany, and Japan. It is also reported that the available positions in the company will include engineering positions, vacancies in the field of research and robotics.
