Almost 1.7 thousand refugees returned to Stepanakert from Armenia in a day.
“On November twenty-ninth, 2020, Russian peacekeepers escorted another convoy of buses with refugees to Nagorno-Karabakh from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. 1699 people were delivered by buses from Yerevan to Stepanakert today,” the message reads.
It is noted that the column’s movement was accompanied by patrols of Russian peacekeepers and military police.
“Russian military personnel ensured the safety of buses moving across the contact line to return civilians to their homes in Stepanakert,” the report adds.
It is reported that more than 23,000 refugees have returned to their places of permanent residence in Nagorno-Karabakh.
