Apple stops selling iMac Pro

It looks like Apple has decided to discontinue the iMac Pro desktop.

This is hinted at by the assortment in the Apple Store online – only the basic configuration is available here for $ 4999. Moreover, next to it there is a mark “While in stock”.

True, other configurations of the iMac Pro may still be available from third-party retailers (for example, Amazon).

But Apple officials confirmed in a comment to The Verge that the iMac Pro will no longer be available when stock runs out.

In this way, the company is expected to clear the way for new models. The iMac and Mac Pro are rumored to debut this year with ARM processors instead of Intel processors. Also, the standard iMac is credited with a new design.

Recall that the iMac Pro has become a more powerful version of the standard iMac. It features Intel Xeon Workstation Processors with ECC memory and AMD Radeon Pro graphics, improved cooling performance over the standard iMac, and comes in an exclusive Space Gray color with matching accessories.
