Akademik Chersky starts laying “Nord stream-2” pipes near Denmark

The ship “Akademik Chersky” today began laying pipes of the “Nord stream-2′ gas pipeline in the waters of Denmark, which has already been carried out there by the pipe-laying company “Fortuna” since the beginning of February, the operator of the Nord Stream 2 AG project said.

“After successfully passing the sea trials, the Akademik Chersky vessel has started pipe-laying operations in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark today. The barge “Fortuna” continues pipe laying,” the company said in a statement.
