AirPods exploded in a man’s ear

The AirPods earphone exploded in a Chinese citizen’s ear when he spoke on the phone, GizmoChina reports.

The incident occurred on May 19. The 23-year-old resident of Zhengzhou city suffered – he damaged the skin of his right ear.

For two days, the owner of the headphones was treated with anti-inflammatory drugs, however, even after therapy, he complains of hearing problems. Doctors also found traces of bleeding in the ear, the portal notes.

In the Chinese social network Weibo, it was reported that a young man bought a headset in one of the stores – partners of Apple. A set of headphones from the defective party was sent to the company so that she figured out the causes of the incident.

It is also alleged that the victim was compensated in accordance with local laws.
