Actor Jeff Bridges is diagnosed with cancer

American actor Jeff Bridges announced that he has cancer. He posted the corresponding publication on Monday on Twitter.

“I have been diagnosed with lymphoma,” Bridges, 70, said. “Despite the fact that this is a serious disease, I am lucky to have a team of amazing doctors, their prognosis is positive.” The actor clarified that he will begin treatment on Tuesday.

Jeff Bridges has starred in over 200 films. He is best known to the general public for his film Crazy Heart, 2009, for his participation in which he was awarded the Oscar and Golden Globe awards in 2010 for Best Actor. Bridges has also starred in films such as The Big Lebowski, 1998, K-PAX, 2001, Favorite.
