The President of the United States Donald Trump played Golf with the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe at the country club Mobara Country Club in the Japanese Prefecture of Chiba Prefecture, reports the Yomiuri. Japanese professional golfer Isao Aoki took part in the game.
Trump arrived in the country club by helicopter, reports NHK. Abe met the American President; the leaders exchanged greetings and handshakes and stopped for a joint photo.
“I would like to preserve the Union of Japan and the United States in the new era of the Rave [the historical era began in the country on May 1 with the accession to the throne of the new Emperor. — FreeNews],” Abe told reporters before the game, Asahi reports.
This is the fifth joint game in Golf of Trump and Abe. Later, the leaders will visit the sumo tournament.
The US President arrived in Japan with his wife Melania on May 25. He intends to discuss with Abe issues of bilateral trade, as well as relations with Iran, China, and North Korea.
