ABBYY has opened a machine learning code: this is how the company wants to attract more developers

ABBYY has published a machine learning development library on the GitHub open source repository. It belongs to Microsoft. The company first came to open-source with such a massive amount of code. All data is freely available on GitHub.

Access to the ABBYY library is a way to accelerate product development through feedback from developers. With this, the company also hopes to expand the scope of technology in new projects and industries.

Open library will make it accessible in a global sense, and will also allow creating an extensive ecosystem of developers around ABBYY.

Recall that earlier the ABBYY library was used in a project to digitize historical documents of the Bolshoi Theater. Over the entire period of work, more than 268 thousand documents and photographs were digitized and systematized. All data was uploaded to the electronic database of the theater museum.
