A US Air Force plane flew over the Baltic States as a sign of Atlantic solidarity

According to the US air forces commander in Europe, this symbolic act demonstrates the unwavering support of NATO allies.

An American long-range bomber flew over the capitals of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia in a show of solidarity among NATO member countries. The US Air Force command reported this amid Western concerns about Russia’s growing aggressiveness.

“This mission clearly demonstrates that our support for our NATO allies is unwavering,” said General Jeff Harrigian, commander of the US Air Force in Europe and Africa.

Recall that Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, once part of the USSR, are now NATO members and the European Union.
