A strong earthquake has occurred in Panama

Seismologists in Latin America reported a powerful earthquake 80 kilometers south of the Panamanian province of Chiriquí, according to various data, the magnitude of the shock was 6.8-7.

The Colombian Geological Survey reported that the magnitude of the earthquake reached 7; there is no threat of a tsunami for the surrounding countries.

There is no information about damage or injuries in Panama and neighboring Costa Rica.
