Scientists from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, along with specialists from the Data-Driven Development Lab, have developed a website where you can see forecasts of the end of the coronavirus pandemic in different countries.
Forecasts are based on the number of infected, dead, recovered, and active cases of COVID-19, as well as on the intensity of social contacts and the average incubation period. Despite the fact that the forecasts on the site are based on scientific databases, experts say that they can’t give 100% exact dates for the end of the pandemic.
For example, in the USA, where now the most infected in the world, the pandemic will end by September 13, and in Italy – only on October 10.
At the same time, the site now has data on 87 countries, however, in the near future, developers will add other regions.
