A sharp rise in Tesla shares brought Elon Musk 2.1 billion dollars

Tesla CEO Elon Musk will receive 2.1 billion dollars after the global growth of the company’s shares, opening the second part of the bonus package worth 55 billion, the publication Forbes reported.

“Musk, now the fifth richest man in the world, opens the second part of the bonus package of 55 billion dollars after an astronomical increase in the value of the company’s shares, which will allow him to get an additional 2.1 billion dollars,” Forbes states.

It is noted that Musk was entitled to another part of the remuneration from his company after the average market capitalization of Tesla for the first half of the year exceeded 150 billion dollars.
By July 15, Tesla’s stock had risen 290% since mid-March, and Musk’s fortune had grown by $ 20 billion.

Recall that on July 21, Musk, for the first time, entered the top five wealthiest people in the world, according to Forbes magazine.
