The author of books about the royal family, Penny Junor, told about the hidden symbols on the sole of the wedding shoes of the mother of British princes William and Harry. The Mirror reports this.
According to the material, 40 years ago at the wedding ceremony with Prince Charles, Princess Diana was dressed in a white lace maxi dress with puffy sleeves and a seven-meter train of the brand David and Elizabeth Emmanuel, a veil of the same shade and low-heeled shoes embroidered with 542 rhinestones and 132 pearls.
Shoes for Diana were created by the famous shoemaker Clive Shilton. According to him, it was important for the princess not to seem taller than her husband, and therefore she asked to make her low-heeled shoes. Junor said that a small message was found on the sole of her wedding shoes after Diana’s death. On the heels of her shoes were engraved the D and C symbols, meaning the first letters of Diana and her husband, Charles.
