A military helicopter crashed into the sea off the coast of California

On August 31, an American military helicopter crashed during a flight near the coast of California.

One crew member of a U.S. Navy helicopter that fell off the coast of California has been rescued; five are missing, ABC News reports, citing a representative of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Earlier, the U.S. Pacific Fleet reported that a U.S. Navy helicopter crashed off the coast of San Diego in California, search and rescue operations are underway. The MH-60S helicopter made a regular flight from the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln and fell into the water about 110 kilometers from the shore.
