In March, Kenansville, USA, received a call from a Dollar General store. On the other end of the line, they complained that a thief had turned up in the supermarket – a homeless dog who had been trying to take a plush unicorn out of the store for the fifth time.
The officer who arrived at the scene decided to take the dog to a shelter at the department. However, when he saw how he looked sadly at the unicorn, he could not resist and buy a dog toy. “It was one of the most unusual challenges of my life. The only guess is that he lived in a house with the same toy, ” said the officer.
So the dog – he was named Sisu – ended up in the shelter with his toy. The volunteers were very moved by the dog’s story and therefore decided to share it on Facebook. And the next day, Sisu found new owners. Now the dog and his plush unicorn finally have a home!
