Former FBI agent Peter Strzok wrote a book about the “threat” posed by US President Donald Trump, and also shared memories of working in the team of special prosecutor Robert Mueller, Free News reports with reference to the website of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books & Media.
The presentation of the work is scheduled for September 8.
“The FBI veteran behind the Russia investigation draws on years of experience hunting foreign agents in the United States to uncover the threat posed by President Trump,” the book’s description on the publisher’s website notes.
Peter Strzok was fired from the FBI in August 2018 after revealing his correspondence with colleague Lisa page, in which he criticized Trump and promised to prevent him from winning the election.
It is noteworthy that Strzok worked together with special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, who investigated the case of “Russian interference,” for years of proceedings and could not substantiate the assumption of “collusion” with Moscow, the presence of which is denied by both the Kremlin and the White House.
