A fire on a US warship will turn into an environmental disaster

After a fire at a military vehicle based on naval forces of the United States in California could turn into an environmental disaster. Die Welt reported.

There are thousands of tons of diesel fuel on board the Bonhomme Richard. If it gets into the sea, it could end up in a terrible disaster.

The command of the US Navy and the coast guard are already working on an action plan to eliminate the oil spill, Fox News reports.

Recall: the number of victims of the fire on the warship has increased to 59 people. Several hundred firefighters with boats and helicopters are currently involved in fighting the fire.
