A 96-year-old personal item of the British queen’s sister will be sold for thousand pounds

A piece of jewelry that belonged to the late sister of Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret, will be put up for auction. The corresponding material is published by the Daily Mail.

We are talking about a bracelet of the luxury brand Cartier, which a member of the royal family wore to a photoshoot at Buckingham Palace on the occasion of the 19th anniversary. It is noted that the author of the picture was the photographer Cecil Beaton. The accessory, dated 1925, is made of two rows of pearls and decorated with round-cut diamonds.

According to the publication, a 96-year-old personal item will be sold at an auction at the Dix Noonan Webb house. The auction will be held on September 14 in London. It is assumed that the lot will go under the hammer at a price that varies from 30 to 40 thousand pounds.

“We offer a rare opportunity to purchase a very personal item of the royal family,” said the head of the auction house, Frances Noble.
